The 2010 Toyota recall models list affects more than two million vehicles.

Here are the models affected by the Toyota recall:

• 2009-2010 RAV4,
• 2009-2010 Corolla,
• 2009-2010 Matrix,
• 2005-2010 Avalon,
• 2007-2010 Camry,
• 2010 Highlander,
• 2007-2010 Tundra,
• 2008-2010 Sequoia

GM recalled the Pontiac Vibe, which is similar to the Toyota Matrix, days later.

Unrelated to the Toyota recall, which involves a gas pedal issue, Honda announced its own recall last week.

Honda's recall affects more than 646,000 Fit Cars. The concern is related to its window switches. These switches can overheat, if exposed to liquid, causing smoke, melting, or fire. See the Wall Street Journal report.

A follow-up on the Toyota recall...Once Toyota gives the green light to bring your car in for the necessary repair, related to the recall, they may provide you a rental car for use while the car is being repaired.
